License Types
The INTENT of use is what determines the type of appointment which needs to be scheduled, which will determine the license provided for use.
Single Non-Transferable License
Most Licensing fits under this category.
- License of content is for the purchasing client or intended party ONLY
- Content cannot be shared for use to any other party
- Transfer of license to another party would incur a re-license charge, which is team dependent
Multi-Use License
This is much more uncommon, and no appointment type includes this automatically. Rather, it would need to be requested to include multi-use license.
- Typically requested ahead of completed appointment
- When done, additional shared licensing would be added at a discounted rate of the original appointment cost ( typically 40-60% )
- This occurs when a company seeking to fulfill content documentation for their client to use, also wishes to uses the content to market THEIR services.
- EX; Contractor completed construction on Apartment building. Apartment managers wish to have images of completed work to market new/finished construction and improvements, but the Contractor also wishes to use the same images for marketing of their company to showcase the work they have completed.
Any use of content outside of that license violates Federal Intellectual Property laws.
As a typical rule, Content purchased cannot be shared among additional parties other than paying client, with the exception that a party who represents the receiving party may receive the images
- Example would be
- the homeowner can have access to the images
- the assistant who booked the appt on behalf of her manager can share images
